New Technologies: Mission Statement "New Technologies" is a Topical Working Group within the AIPES organization to provide a gateway to detecting and understanding new technological developments in the field of non-invasive imaging and therapies involving radionuclides. As such, NewT is set up by members of imaging and pharmaceutical industries with extensive background in applied and advanced imaging. The NewT working group will receive input from its members on new technological and associated developments worldwide with a focus on EU legislation. The NewT group will notify AIPES of new European initiatives that AIPES needs to engage in. Further, it will liaise with complementary working groups or committees within the EANM to support technological and radiopharmaceutical research, training and development. Particular attention shall be given to projects and strategies on personalized, image-guided therapy planning, delivery and monitoring.
